The Household Kit.
If you have more than a handful of AA-powered devices — smart locks, Blink cameras, Xbox controllers, kids’ toys, TV remotes, smoke detectors — you’ll burn through the standard 4-pack in days. Then you’re stuck waiting between recharges.
The Family Bundle solves it: 8 cells + 1 CW508 charger that holds all 8 at once. Drop them in, plug one USB-C cable, walk away. Two hours later your entire household’s AA supply is full.

When to Get It
- ✓ Household with 8+ AA-powered devices
- ✓ Want one charger that handles your whole AA supply at once
- ✓ Travel-friendly: the cylindrical case is TSA carry-on safe
- ✓ Photographers, parents, smart-home enthusiasts — anyone who runs out of AAs constantly
- ✗ Casual user with 1-2 devices — the standard 4-Pack kit (CW505 charger) is plenty
Why CW508 Instead of the CW505 4-Slot
The standard 4-Pack kit ships with the CW505 4-slot charger — perfect for everyday-carry. The CW508 is its bigger sibling for the household:

|---|---|---|
| Capacity | 4 cells | 8 cells (AA / AAA mixed) |
| Display | Per-cell LCD | Per-slot LED |
| Form | Slim flip-lid | Coffee-mug cylinder |
| Use case | Travel, daily-carry | Household hub |

How It Works
Full in 2 hours. Four steps.
- 1
Drop the cells into the charger
Place your SCIGOLD AA 1.5V Li-ion cells into the CW505 4-slot or CW508 8-slot charger, matching the + and − terminals shown in each slot. The smart chip recognizes SCIGOLD cells automatically.
- 2
Connect any USB-C power source
Plug a USB-C cable into the charger and connect it to any 5V/3A source — a phone wall charger, laptop USB-C port, GaN brick, power bank, or car charger. No proprietary adapter needed.
- 3
Watch the per-cell status display
The LCD (CW505) or per-slot LED (CW508) shows each cell charging independently. A nearly empty cell and a half-full one both charge to their own correct 1.5V target and stop when done.
- 4
Done in about 2 hours
Four cells charge from empty to full in roughly 2 hours at 5V/3A. Charging stops automatically when each cell is full — the Smart Protection System guards against over-charge, over-temperature, and short-circuit, so it is safe to leave plugged in.
