8 Slots. 1 Cable. Charge Anywhere.
A standalone smart charging case for SCIGOLD 1.5V AA and AAA Li-ion cells. Drop in up to 8 cells in any AA/AAA mix, plug a USB-C cable into anything that puts out 5V — phone charger, laptop USB-C port, GaN brick, power bank — and walk away.
The charger handles per-cell voltage termination independently. Mix four nearly-dead AAAs and four full AAs in the same case — each one charges to its own correct voltage and stops when it’s done. No matching pairs. No babysitting.

Why a Charging Case (Not a Cradle)
A normal 4-slot rectangular charger sits permanently on your desk. This one closes into a coffee-mug-sized cylinder — toss it in a camera bag, glovebox, or carry-on. The 8 slots are arranged around a center post inside the lid; the contacts only touch when the lid is fully closed.
That means:
- Cells stay protected from short-circuit when transit
- No exposed contacts attracting metal debris
- It looks like a small thermos, not a piece of electronics
- TSA-friendly carry-on
Pairs With
The CW508 is designed for SCIGOLD’s 1.5V AA Li-ion family. Best paired with:
- AA 4-Pack flagship (4,440 mWh × 4 cells with thin smart case) — the daily-driver kit
- AA 4-Cells Only (no case) — fill the rest of the CW508’s 8 slots
- AA Family Bundle (8 cells + this CW508 8-slot charger) — the household kit, save ~$15 vs buying separately
The CW508 is also compatible with most third-party 1.5V AA Li-ion brands using standard pin-style contacts, but voltage termination is calibrated for SCIGOLD cells.

How It Works
Full in 2 hours. Four steps.
- 1
Drop the cells into the charger
Place your SCIGOLD AA 1.5V Li-ion cells into the CW505 4-slot or CW508 8-slot charger, matching the + and − terminals shown in each slot. The smart chip recognizes SCIGOLD cells automatically.
- 2
Connect any USB-C power source
Plug a USB-C cable into the charger and connect it to any 5V/3A source — a phone wall charger, laptop USB-C port, GaN brick, power bank, or car charger. No proprietary adapter needed.
- 3
Watch the per-cell status display
The LCD (CW505) or per-slot LED (CW508) shows each cell charging independently. A nearly empty cell and a half-full one both charge to their own correct 1.5V target and stop when done.
- 4
Done in about 2 hours
Four cells charge from empty to full in roughly 2 hours at 5V/3A. Charging stops automatically when each cell is full — the Smart Protection System guards against over-charge, over-temperature, and short-circuit, so it is safe to leave plugged in.
